Recipe of the Week: Creamy Cheese & Grape Truffles

Posted & filed under Recipes.

Creamy truffles – an elegant, tasty, no-oven, no-stove top, QUICK, and EASY 3-ingredient appetizer….wow that is a lot of “power-words” in one description, and every one of them is true!! This savory truffle is a triple threat in the texture department too! Creamy cheese engulfs crisp and refreshing grapes, all coated in crunchy toasted nuts! Seriously, this is a stand out recipe; you can use either cream cheese or goat cheese, whichever you please (or have on hand lol). Grapes make for the perfect filling to the creamy cheese, but fresh (or dried) figs are awesome too! Feel free to use any nut or dried fruit you have handy, just make sure you toast the nuts first to bring out their nutty taste! Enjoy!

Makes 24 truffles

Ingredients:

12 oz. goat cheese log or 12 oz. cream cheese

24 grapes – seedless

Directions:

  1. Toast and chop 1 cup nuts of choice, OR, finely mince dried fruit of choice – I chose pistachios!
  2. Coat 24 seedless grapes (red or green or both) each with about 1 TBSP “creamy” cheese of choice (I chose goat cheese)
  3. Roll the cheese-covered grape in nuts or dried fruit.

Easy Peasy!!
