Have you seen my YouTube channel lately? It has a whole new look!

Posted & filed under Dishin' with Annie, Recent Happenings.

If you follow me on social media (and you should! haha) you probably know that I have a YouTube channel. Here’s my most recent video:

Creamy White Bean Ice Cream:  I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! If you have been following me you know I loovvve ice cream, and this is my go to when I want a healthy alternative that is full of protein and fiber and free from refined sugar, gluten and dairy!!  Click on the YouTube link to Like, Share and Subscribe.

Stand Up Comedy imageHere’s the story behind the channel:
I got I started by posting a professional video of my stand-up comedy act (the “graduation” event of a comedy class). It got some likes, shares and subscribes – and I was hooked!

Quarantine Cuisine imageI wanted to do more videos (I’ve always wanted to have my own cooking show), but as a busy personal chef, there just wasn’t time to prep and record a video. Then came the COVID-19 quarantine – and suddenly I wasn’t trekking off to clients’ homes to cook for them! I had some time on my hands – and so the Quarantine Cuisine series of videos was born! (The Quarantine also led to a big increase in my meal delivery clientele – but that’s another story!)

Tutu Rice ImageThe Quarantine Cuisine series consisted of “homemade” videos of me demonstrating a simple recipe, and having some fun with it, while Mom (aka Chef Nancy) worked the camera. Tutu Rice was one of my faves.

Lazy Man's Apple Pie imagePeople seemed to like the videos, which encouraged me to do more, not just recipes, but various kitchen/cooking tips. I even had a guest star – My Dad! Together we made Lazy Man’s Apple Pie for Father’s Day.

I loved doing these videos, but editing them for posting was not my favorite thing (I’m a chef, I produce meals, not videos! LOL) and it was taking up a lot more time than I really had. Then I remembered that my dear friend’s husband was a professional photographer – and so Kevin Haughey joined the EYHOE team!

Introducing Kevin Haughey of Barefoot Studios

Kevin HaugheyKevin Haughey is the founder of Barefoot Studios, a creative studio of all media. He currently offers Photography, Videography, Editing and Social Media Management. He also does promotional videos for local businesses. Why is his business called Barefoot Studios? He does most of his work at the shore! (lucky guy!) Check out his portfolio and his Instagram to see some of his stunning work for yourself.

Basic Brownies ImageKevin took on the job of shooting, editing, producing and uploading my videos.
He jumped right in with ideas and direction, and soon we had EYHOE’s first professionally-produced video:  Basic Brownies.

Each one since then has been a little bit smoother, a little more professional – as you can see from the most recent one at the top of this post. I think Kevin’s doing a great job!

I hope you’ll agree that  I have come a lonnnnng way! YOU all have helped make my dreams come true by allowing me to cook for you and yours either on a weekly basis, or for a special occasion….so now I ask, please help me make the rest of my dreams come true – let’s get this personal cheffy a cooking show! Or at least, a popular YouTube Channel!

Please LIKE and share the videos you enjoy, and If you’re hungry (pun intended! haha) to learn recipes, tips and tricks (and get some laughs along the way!) then subscribe to my channel, and be sure to share with your family/friends!
