Recipe of the Week: Pumpkin Parmesan Dip

Posted & filed under Recipes.

Anyone who follows me on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram) has recently seen lots of pics/posts from my younger sister’s bridal shower last weekend. It was a great time, despite the oppressive heat wave (the party was outdoors in the evening) that came through just in time for the shower – so humid!

When we chose the date for the shower, we thought by the time September rolled around that it would be very nice weather to have an outdoor bash, and a great time to welcome the on-coming fall season! Hence, why Pumpkin Parmesan dip was put on the menu…and to think my Mom wanted to serve Italian Wedding Soup! Hot or chilly weather doesn’t matter, this creamy, sage-infused dip is always the hit of the party, courtesy of my Mom – it’s her recipe!

After the party I received quite a few emails from family/friends asking for the recipe, so I figured what better way to share it than to post it as my ROTW, just in time for the soon-to-be fall season (hopefully, no Indian summers here!)

As always, get creative with the recipe, use your own spices and mix-ins, I like heat, so I always add Sriracha, or like tonight (I am still eating leftovers from the party and loving it!) I sprinkled crushed red pepper flakes right onto my cracker and dip! Serve the dip with crackers, toasted pita, veggies, or pretzel chips! Here’s to my first of many fall-ish/pumpkin recipes headed your way!
